COM LTD FEATURES- StarView 4-port KVM Switch with OSD The SV431 is a 4-port KVM switch that allows 4 computers with PS/2 style keyboard and mouse connections to be controlled from one monitor, keyboard and mouse. An On-Screen Display (OSD) feature allows PC selection from an on- screen menu of user-defined computer names. This switch s built in OSD security keeps unwanted users out. Ports are switched by pressing a button on the unit, or by entering a simple keyboard hot-key sequence. The StarView prevents boot-up errors by providing keyboard and mouse emulation to the non-selected PC. Its low cost, super small footprint design, and high 1920x1440 resolution display capability make this switch perfect for any application where reliability and cost-effectiveness are a necessity. Hot-pluggable to allow computers to be added or removed without worrying about having to reboot the other connected system. Keep-alive feature draws power from PC keyboard ports if power is lost. Switch will continue to operate during power outage even if it loses power, retaining mouse control. Compact 1U rack height takes up very little cabinet or rack space.
