In olden days, the trestle base was the favored dining table of the nobility because it could knock down and their servants would move it from castle to castle. Our solidly buit version version has an oak cathedral and quartersawn veners; the table edges are a rich oggee & bullnose and made of solid hardwood. The top is stained. Trestle base patterned after the tables found in English pubs. Oak veneer top with cathedral pattern in the center and quartersawn around sides. Top finished in Antique Oak stain.
